Town of Rockbridge

Richland County requires all dogs within the county to be licensed EVERY YEAR.

Annual Dog Licenses need to be obtained in the Town of Orion Treasurer’s Office by April 1 of each year. The cost is $8.00 per dog or $3.00 if the pet is spayed or neutered.

To obtain a Dog License for each of your dogs:

1. You must provide a copy of your receipt from the Veterinarian for each dog you are seeking a license for that shows

• the date of Rabies Vaccination,
• the make and serial number of the vaccine,
• and the expiration date.

2. You must include the payment for each license requested

• $3 for each dog that is spayed/neutered, OR
• $8 for each dog that is notspayed/neutered.
